The Joint Training was a two-day Virtual Training whose target groups included 35 participants from human rights officers, youth, elders, women, IDPs among others in Mogadishu. The training was aimed at increasing the capacity of human rights officers to monitor, investigate report and advocate on human rights violations during and after elections. The training also contributed to the strengthening of the Human Rights Officers’ capacities and skills on human rights as outlined in the constitution and other international conventions, allowing them to make informed decisions about policy processes, access to justice, and effective participation in Somalia’s leadership and development.
